The Sureflap Microchip Pet Door uses a revolutionary technology that turns your pets existing microchip into an electronic key, allowing you to have total control over which animals can enter your house. It also features manual lock and entry only settings for times when you wish to prevent your pet from entering or exiting the house.
Compatible with all international microchip formats, this pet door can store up to 32 microchip numbers and will run on 4 x C batteries for over 12 months. The Sureflap Microchip Pet Door is easy to install, will fit into walls and doors up to 6cm thick without any additional accessories and may be installed in glass with the use of the Sureflap Pet Door Glass Mounting Adapter. For greater adaptability, tunnel extenders are also available if more than 70mm tunnel depth is required.

Sure Petcare became the new company name for SureFlap in 2017. After experiencing first-hand the unpleasant consequences of unwanted neighbourhood cats entering his home through the cat flap and terrorising his cat Flipper, Dr Nick Hill - a Cambridge physicist - set out to find a solution. He knew he didn’t want Flipper to wear a collar, so he developed a revolutionary technology that uses a cat’s existing microchip like an electronic door key, giving Flipper exclusive access to his home and leaving intruder animals at the door. After three years of intensive research and development, the Sureflap brand was born.
