Domestic Shipping
Modern Pets offers free shipping* on orders over $29 to most metro cities and major regional centres across Australia (excludes oversized items**). Just use the handy shipping calculator to see if your suburb qualifies for free shipping. If you are not eligible for free shipping, the cost of shipping will be calculated based on the weight of your order. You will be able to see the shipping cost and estimated delivery time via the shipping calculator before you proceed to payment.
*Free shipping means the cost of shipping is built into the price of the item, so delivery costs may still be deducted from refunds for returned items. If you require further information about our refunds policy please visit our Return Policy page.
We regret that our warehouse is not accessible to the public. As such, we do not offer a pick-up option. Your order will generally be shipped from our distribution centre, which is located in Melbourne, within 1-2 working days* of receiving payment excluding public holidays & weekends.
The majority of our parcels are delivered by Australia Post however occasionally we work with other courier partners to provide the most efficient delivery service with the most reasonable price. Express shipping is now available Australia-wide for most products.

Please allow 2 extra business days for personalised products as each item is custom made.
All orders will be sent with signature required unless ATL (Authority to Leave) is requested. Please keep an eye on the tracking and aim to be home on delivery day as redeliveries may incur additional costs. If ATL is selected, we will not cover replacement costs if the parcel goes missing. For this reason, we do not allow ATL on expensive goods such as the Litter Robot.

Oversized Products
**Oversized items are products that exceed the maximum weight and size requirements by Australia Post and can only be transported via courier.
Shipping for oversized products is free only for Melbourne customers. You can see the shipping cost to your suburb before placing your order via the shipping calculator. The shipping calculator can be found on the product page and cart page.
International Shipment
International orders are currently accepted for New Zealand only.
Each country has different laws regarding imports from abroad and you may be required to pay additional fees on delivery such as customs clearance charges, duties and taxes. Our shipping rate covers door to door delivery only and does not include import fees if applicable.
