This product is a bit exey but worked great. I actually screwed it into the frame of the sofa so there is no way the cat can pull it off, and she certainly tries.

The scratcher is really good quality, super easy to install and my cat loves it. I placed it on the corner where she was scratching the new fabric bar stools and she has stopped and uses the scratcher instead.Much nicer than a scratch post, will definitely order again.
