We purchased the ceramic pet water fountain hoping it would stop our kitten from clambering over benches and into sinks in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry to lick water straight from the tap rather than from the bowls of water provided her. For the most part, it has! The fountain, though not small, is indeed quiet and easy to clean. Our kitten seems to like having a choice of drinking options (bubbling water from the top, running water from the sides, and straight from the main water reservoir in the capacious bowl). Since purchasing the fountain one month ago, our concerns about the USB cable needed to power the pump posing issues for a mischevious kitten (or clumsy adults) have proved unfounded.
This water fountain is quiet and looks great. I love that it can still be used in a power outage.
