      Warranty Policy

      Modern Pets offers free domestic shipping on orders over $99 to most metro cities and major regional centres across Australia (excluding oversized items). Please enter your suburb/ postcode above to check the shipping cost (if applicable) and estimated delivery date. Orders are typically dispatched from our Melbourne distribution centre within 1–2 business days.

      Most parcels are delivered by Australia Post, though we occasionally work with other couriers. The timing of your delivery will depend on the method you choose. For those who opt for Express post, you can expect your items to arrive the following day after shipping.

      Estimated delivery times for Standard Shipping:

      • Metro Melbourne: 2–5 business days
      • Other cities and large towns in VIC: 3–6 business days
      • Metro Sydney: 3–7 business days
      • Other interstate locations: 4–14 business days

      The default shipping method is Signature Required (SR), unless Authority to Leave (ATL) is selected at checkout. If no one is home with SR, parcels will be taken to your local Post Office. If ATL is selected, we are not responsible for replacement costs if the parcel goes missing.

      Steam but not so brush

      My cat is a British Blue. I tried to use the steamy brush and it gets steamy but the hair gets stuck in between the rubber prongs. It is not useful to remove hair. It does make it wet.

      Thanks for your feedback! This brush works a bit differently. The hair is meant to build up between the bristles and then be peeled off in one piece. The steam helps lightly dampen the coat so the fur clumps together, which works well on short, dense coats like a British Blue. If only a small amount of hair is collected, it can seem like it’s just stuck between the prongs. A slightly longer brushing session usually helps. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it on.       Soft steams makes the process of brushing more enjoyable (for me anyways, but the cat doesn’t seem to mind)

      Brush bits aren't super soft

      This brush is probably a bit hard for my devon rex coats. I was expecting a softer silicone & they were a hard plastic. The water mist worked to dislodge the fur though & give my cats a bit of a bath. They were very wet from the mist that was quite strong flowing.

The bristles are designed to effectively lift loose fur when used with the mist feature, and we’re glad the water helped dislodge the fur, though we appreciate your note about the strength of the spray.       Game changer!

      My cat was shedding so much over summer that we had fine fluffy tumbleweeds throughout the house! He absolutely hated the grooming glove we had bought. I saw a cat groomer using this brush and getting so much excess hair off of the cats so decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed and our cat LOVES it. He comes running and flops down for a good brush over. The mist helps catch all his fine hairs and we are constantly shocked at how much hair the brush has it in! Love that it came with a spare brush head and charger!

      Cat Steaming Brush

      Really impressed with this cat steaming brush. It helps reduce shedding, softens the coat, and makes grooming more comfortable. Easy to use and feels gentle on the fur, highly recommend!
