Move it anywhere! I did not want continuous running. It turns on when puss approaches! But option fir continuous. The sound is delightful, its in loungeroom, I turn it on with TV remote when I want water sounds! It smaller than most. Rightly. I want to change water often. I fill from my water filter. This is exactly what I wanted a portable water fountain for my Ragdoll, I charge once a week and then set on the sensor mode so only starts when Coco-chanel walks near it, it's so great not having to be plugged in to mains power as I can put anywhere in my apartment, hopefully it encourages coco drink more water.
